Jennifer Aaker

Jennifer Aaker is the Xerox Distinguished Professor of Knowledge at Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, and the General Atlantic Professor of Marketing at the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University (on leave). Professor Aaker received her B.A. in Psychology from University of California at Berkeley and her Ph.D. in Marketing from Stanford University. Professor Aaker's area of expertise lies in the psychology of time, money and happiness.

Andy Achenbaum

Andy Achenbaum teaches history and social work at the University of Houston, and holds four adjunct appointments in the Texas Medical Center. A former board chair of the National Council on Aging, Andy serves on several boards at Christ Church Cathedral, the Holocaust Museum, and the Alzheimer's Association. Author of five books and co-editor of 11 others, Achenbaum's most recent work is OLDER AMERICANS, VITAL COMMUNITIES (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2005).

Akbar Ahmed

Akbar Ahmed, a professor of Islamic Studies and former ambassador of Pakistan to the UK, is Judea Pearl's partner and envoy to Muslims in the U.S. and abroad. Pearl and Ahmed now travel the country to speak at "Daniel Pearl Dialogues for Muslim-Jewish Understanding Featuring Akbar Ahmed and Judea Pearl," linking their life stories to a larger call for reconciliation and providing a rare forum for moderate Muslims in the U.S. to gather.
