Tuesday-Wednesday, February 23-24, and Tuesday, March 23, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Coming Of Age: Bay Area, an initiative to help people 50+ explore their future, promote their connection and contribution, and build stronger nonprofits, will hold its first Learning Lab in San Francisco. Called “Capturing the Energy & Expertise of People Age 50+,” this three-day intensive training offers staff development to nonprofit professionals, culminating in a doable, outcomes-drive action plan. Life By Design NW and the Multnomah County Library will sponsor an event titled “Perspectives on Positive Aging: Pilgrim at Home” with author Kim Stafford. Part of the pleasure of daily life can be paying attention to the way little events in the outer world can stimulate discoveries in the inner life.
