Encore Fellowships are a bold and timely idea that wows us...the kind of innovative thinking that can transform lives and change our world.
ENCORE FELLOWSHIPS
Encore Fellowships are designed to deliver new sources of talent to organizations solving critical social problems. These paid, time-limited fellowships place highly-skilled, experienced professionals at the end of their midlife careers in social-purpose organizations.
During the fellowship period (typically six to 12 months, half to full time), the fellows take on roles that bring significant, sustained impact to their host organizations. While they are working, the fellows earn a stipend, learn about social-purpose work and develop a new network of contacts and resources for the future.

FELLOWSHIPS ACROSS THE COUNTRY
Based on the success of the Encore Fellowships pilot program in 2009, Civic Ventures is working to expand the program nationwide. With funding from The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, we have launched the Encore Fellowships Network.
Dozens of corporations, foundations and other organizations across the U.S. are now exploring the possibility of using Encore Fellows as a significant new source of talent to help solve problems in their communities. Hundreds of prospective Encore Fellows have already signed up with the Encore Fellowships Network so they can be connected with programs as they become available.
