I am currently an Interior Designer, working at a mid-size archtectural firm. I have been in the industry (and at the same firm) for 5 years. In the wake of this economy, we have down sized considerably, been left with salary reductions and now significantly reduced work schedules. I have loved what I do and have, even more so, loved where I work, but all that has changed in the last year. I'm at a re-evaluation point with my career. I have invested time, continuing education, examinations and more to being an interior designer so it scares me to be reconsidering my profession so much.
