Tuition waivers for Encore Careers retraining

The Community College of Allegheny County and two other colleges in the Pittsburgh area have announced they will offer tuition waivers for displaced workers. The tuition waivers apply to five high demand areas, three of them in healthcare fields: emergency medical technicians,certified nurse-aide training, and phlebotomy.

In a perfect world, we would fully understand what Deepak Chopra calls the Law of Dharma. According to Chopra (1994), the Sanskrit term dharma roughly translates “the purpose of life.” The components of this law tell us that we are spirits having human experiences, and that each of us has a unique talent, a means of doing something in a special way better than anyone else on the planet. Finally, after recognizing our spirit and our unique gift, we find ultimate fulfillment in assisting others through loving service.
