The principles of business project management can apply to projects undertaken by nonprofit humanitarian groups. I believe there are many project managers of encore age who are seeking ways to help the world, and leveraging their skills may be the best way to contribute. Project Managers for Good would match groups in need with project managers who can help.

About Ron Moulton

After many years as a corporate project manager and management consultant, I got involved in development work supporting refugees from southern Sudan. (I am a board member of the nonprofit Village Help for South Sudan, in Lynn, Mass.) That experience has not only convinced me of the project management needs that exist in humanitarian work, but also how effective project management mentoring can be with the people and groups who are engaged in such development work.
