In 2011, program and policy leaders, researchers, employers and innovators came together to form the Greater Boston Encore Action Network to advance the encore movement in the Boston area.

Coming of Age: Austin Metro
Austin Metropolitan Area
Promotes 50+ civic engagement, lifelong learning and community leadership through: 1) volunteering, learning and community leadership for people age 50+ and 2) building the capacity of local nonprofits to create compelling age 50+ volunteer opportunities. Begun in Philadelphia, it has affiliates in several locations, including the Austin metropolitan area.

A community resource program of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. Connects high-impact retired or soon-to-retire professionals age 55-plus with nonprofits for part-time, modest stipend opportunities.
