My Bio

I am a Program Associate for Civic Ventures. I graduated from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, where I earned a Master of Social Work and researched in-depth policies and programs affecting older adults, especially in areas of civic engagement. My experiences include a graduate internship for The OASIS Institute, a national nonprofit educational institution that provides lifelong learning and volunteer opportunities for older adults, as well as a graduate internship for the St. Louis Area Agency on Aging. I graduated with my BA in International Studies from the University of Iowa and studied in Dortmund, Germany while in undergrad as well. A native Iowan, I currently reside in Washington, DC.
