My Encore Story

I was a homemaker and mom in the early years of my first three children, then after years of abuse, I left and was divorced.  I worked sometimes up to three jobs at a time, waitress, swim coach/lifeguard and cleaned homes and businesses.

Then I remarried, had one more child and went to work when I saw signs that this marriage had major problems.  Worked at a dealer auto auction and advanced thru the company until I was their factory sales manager.  Then the bottom fell out of factory sales so I quit to take care of my children.  In six months time, I was a partner in electronic dartboards, ran leagues, did stats, was a player, got elected to the So. CA. Dart Association.

Then the marriage fell apart and there I was alone with a 10 year old daughter to support so I went to work in a doctor’s office and did that for 10 years.  Then I ended up with angioplasty for my heart and a hysterectomy, I had filed a
Workers Comp. case for my hands, he did not have this insurance for over four years, but I made sure he had before I filed.  So he illegally terminated me, wasn’t that nice of him.  He told me he was closing the practice, it is still open 5 years later.

So I went into real estate investing, did okay buying Trust Deeds until it was discovered I was up against some major white collar criminals, four properties, 30 lawsuits defended and won and still I lost.  There goal was to run me out of money and they finally succeeded on the last property.  A lot of criminal activity went on but no one seemed to care.  I lost over 2.5 million personally.

I want to return to work after I get my hands operated on in the next few months.  I want to do something to help others, I want to make the changes needed to prevent people from criminal activity that cost others.

I belong to several groups and I do sign petitions to try to make the changes we need.  I have seen things in work places that need changes, laws that are broken and employers and workers who do not seem to care.  I want to contribute to our society.  I want jobs to stay in America.

I have also worked with the Disabled/Handicapped and see misunderstanding in the public sector even today.
