Greetings....Jim and Alex asked me to help facilitate the Encore for Environment working group on Sunday, so I took the opportunity to form this group on Encore.org.

Green Encore
Thank you for the invitation. I look forward to meeting all of you and exploring ways to resume my green activism while holding down a more than fulltime job and nurturing the social and environmental micro-climate I am creating in L.A. My dream is to engage more older people in environmental issues and I have started that modestly with programs through the non-profit of which I am COO. The pace does not match the sense of urgency I feel. I am hoping we can form an ongoing Community of Practice, where we share ideas, resources, challenges, experience.??
